Draft follow-ups for quotes with no reply after seven days
- Who it's for
- Trades, agencies and freelancers who send quotes
- Outcome
- Friendly follow-up drafts for every quiet quote, ready for you to send.
- Why Handoff 2
- Drafts only. You choose who gets a follow-up and send it yourself.
Steps
- List the quotes sent more than seven days ago with no reply (from your sent folder or quote tracker).
- Give the agent one example of a follow-up you would happily send.
- Ask for one short draft per quote, referencing the quote number and date.
- Check each customer's status yourself, then send the drafts that still make sense.
Copy-paste prompt
Works with any agent. Replace the [square brackets] with your details.
Here is a list of quotes I sent with no reply: [customer, quote number, date, amount, what it was for].
Draft one short, friendly follow-up email per quote, in the tone of this example: [paste example]. Mention the quote number and date. Do not offer discounts or change any terms. Do not send anything; save drafts or show them here.Notes for each agent

Claude Suggested
Ask Claude to save drafts, not send them. In Cowork's Manual mode it pauses for approval before using connector tools set to 'Needs approval'. Avoid 'Skip' mode for anything sent in your name.

ChatGPT Suggested
Before an app action such as sending an email, ChatGPT may show an approval card. Keep your email app on 'Always ask' or 'Allow read actions' so sending always needs your OK.

Gemini Suggested
Gemini can draft Gmail messages in chat (Google Workspace connected app required). The draft has a Send button, so read it first, or use 'Edit in Gmail' on the web to finish it in Gmail.

Microsoft Copilot Suggested
In Outlook, 'Draft with Copilot' writes a draft you edit and send yourself, and 'Coaching by Copilot' can suggest tone and clarity fixes.

Open agents & automations Suggested
In n8n, connect the send tool through a human review step: the workflow pauses and shows the exact message for Approve or Deny.
